It's a well-done satire that only the thinnest of skins would find insulting.. The movie duplicates exactly my experience with the book, although I must say I was thankful to be spared serial outbreaks of hearty Greek dancing.. If you can get past the idea that Buffalo Soldiers ... has any real relevance, you are likely to enjoy its sitcom snap and the performance of Phoenix.. The result is far from perfect, but to its many merits, add timing. You never get a movie with this kind of story in mid...
